We’re thrilled to welcome Trumpet maestro Russ Johnson to the Transfer Stage. Russ played a roll in the NYC avant-jazz scene for decades before relocating to SE Wisconsin to teach at UW Parkside. Russ’s groups play regularly in NYC, Chicago and abroad. Tonight, we’re proud to present him from the Transfer stage. He’ll be joined by Hannah Johnson (unrelated) on drums and Tim Ipsen on bass.
