This will be the inaugural night of a new 4th Thursday tradition for the Martini Jazz Lounge. If you’ve had the pleasure of happening upon some Django Reinhardt style swing — popularly known as Gypsy Jazz — at Transfer, you will know that the sound and the spirit of the music melds beautifully with our historic space. Local Gypsy Jazz luminary, Scott Hlavenka, has assembled a veteran group of players: Guy Fiorentini and Ben Dameron on guitar, Michael Ritter on bass, Allen Russell on violin, with Mr. Hlavenka himself also on guitar.
