This evening marks ten years since the inception of Latin Sessions. The series name was conceived by the late, great Cecilio Negron, Jr., and this year’s poster rehashes a graphic that he was toying with back in 2014 when working on promotional materias for CNJ Latin Jazz Trio, one of the pillars of the series over the years. Tonight we will kick off the 8th season of Latin Sessions with the successor of CNJ, the Wepa Trio. And thus we celebrate community and passion, the things that keep us going and that will outlast us.

The Wepa Trio is Joey Sanchez on bass, Neil Davis on guitar and Bony Benavides on conga.
