Tonight, we are celebrating TEN YEARS of the TRANSFER HOUSE BAND. Transfer the restaurant celebrated it’s 10 year mark in March. The house band, which started off as “Charles, Martin and friends,” joined us on Tuesday evenings October of that year (2008).

The original group was Neal Chandek on keys, Bill Martin on guitar and Dennis Fermenich on vocals. Soon Andrew Wilson emerged from retirement as the groups drummer, and a consistent stream of sit-ins and guests began to appear, from local well-knowns like Jerry Grillo and Adekola Adedapo, to the occasional heavy hitter, like George Braithe and Brian Lynch. Now, over 500 performances later, Omar (Jeff Phillips) is holding down the drums, Neal and Bill and Dennis are still doing their thing! Tonight we celebrate maintaining the groove!
