We welcome to the Transfer stage for the first time, saxophonist Stu Mellis, who brings his musical journey full circle with a return to Milwaukee. A product of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Stu played on the local big band and Salsa circuits before departing for Dallas in 1979. He has played along with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Johnny Taylor, Glen Campbell. Tonight he will be playing with Transfer's usual suspects: Neal Chandek on keys, Bill Martin on guitar and Omar on the jazz kit.
